El Paso County (County) is seeking written bids from qualified, experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for Fountain Creek Regional Trail Flood Repairs (Project). The Project generally includes the repair or replacement of soft surface trails, drainage culverts, embankments and slopes, and creek banks at four El Paso County Park locations damaged in 2015 flooding. Completed work must meet the scope of work, specifications, and construction details provided by El Paso County (see attachments).
This Project is funded by Federal Funds (Federal Disaster FEMA-DR-4229-CO) and El Paso County. The FEMA Project Worksheets (PW) are provided for background information only. Completed construction work will meet the overall intent of the PW and will be performed within the footprint described in the PW. The work will restore to pre-disaster condition, re-locate away from hazardous areas, and/or mitigate damaged areas from future damage. This IFB package provides clarification and detailed explanation of the scope of the FEMA PWs and provides the requirements of the construction contract.
