El Paso County is soliciting responses from qualified Vendors to furnish all materials and labor as necessary for a GIS (Geographic Information System) Upgrade for El Paso County Digital, Strategy and Technology department.
El Paso County’s (EPC) primary internal GIS customers include the County Administration, Assessor’s Office, Clerk and Recorder’s Office, Community Services, District Attorney, Economic Development, Public Health, Human Services, and Environmental Departments – approximately forty (40) powerusers and an additional fifty (50) users that consume GIS products produced by the GIS Team in Digital, Strategy, and Technology (DST). DST is currently running ESRI’s ArcGIS Enterprise v10.8.1 with a SQL (Structured Query Language) 2019 database backend. In addition to the ArcGIS Enterprise upgrade to v11.x, the architecture will continue to be virtualized and staged within a parallel environment. The database will be migrated to SQL 2022. The remaining work, as described in the Scope of Work section, involves the steps required to manage, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise in both production and test environments.
