17-012 - On-Call Underground Locating Services

The El Paso County Information Technology Department is seeking proposals from qualified experienced contractors firms interested in providing underground location services to locate underground copper and fiber assets as required throughout the year.  The objective of the contract(s) is to provide a resource for technical expertise that the County can utilize on various jobs, typically smaller and short term, as needed.   El Paso County is interested in establishing an annual general services contract(s) with qualified, experienced firms to provide underground locating services to the County for expertise that can encompass a wide variety of projects.  The type and number of specific projects under the awarded contracts have not been determined.  The awarded contract(s) will be for a year period with 4 additional one year renewal options.
 
The County reserves the right to award contracts to multiple firms if such is deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
