IFB-16-027 - Rock Island Regional Trail Construction

Summary of Specifications:
The El Paso County Community Services Department (County) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced contractors to construct extensions of the existing Rock Island Regional Trail to connect with the High Prairie Library and the Falcon commercial center. The Rock Island Regional Trail Falcon Trailhead area was initially established in 1888 as the original park site for the town of Falcon. Pedestrian connections to be provided by this project will greatly enhance the ability of Falcon residents to safely access points of interest in their community from within the trailhead park and beyond. This trail project includes final layout and construction of 2,945 linear feet of trail, 50 linear feet of concrete swale crossing, and 1,530 square feet of bridge repair, and is divided into five main components.
