Summary of Specifications:
El Paso County is seeking written best value bids from qualified, licensed and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Ute Pass Hazard Mitigation Project (Project) which include permitting, utility disconnection and removal, and the demolition, removal and environmentally appropriate disposal of all existing man-made structures and the grading and re-vegetation for up to four properties acquired by El Paso County Department of Public Services (Department). This project is being funded through several grant agreements with Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (“HMGP”) funds have been made available for this project through State of Colorado Department of Public Safety Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (hereinafter “CDPS”) and Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”) infrastructure grant matching funds have been made available through the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (hereinafter “DOLA”)
