Purpose
The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to engage the prompt and efficient services of a qualified firm of certified public accountants eligible by law to practice public accounting in the State of Colorado with a demonstrated track record in conducting governmental financial audits to provide professional auditing services to the County of Grand, Colorado.
Services Required
The scope of the prospective contract will be to perform financial audits in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Governmental Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States and, who will provide an Independent Auditors' Report on the Basic Financial Statements, Report to Governance, Report on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting and on Compliance and Other Matters Based on an Audit of Financial Statements Performed in Accordance With Government Auditing Standards, Report on Compliance for Each Major Federal Program and on Internal Control Over Compliance Required by the Uniform Guidance, and Report on the financial assurance letter on the Grand County landfills.

The requirements and information needed to complete proposals are set forth below. Responses to this RFP will be received by Grand County Board of County Commissioners until 4:00 PM July 31, 2020.
