Description

Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) is seeking a qualified and professional contractor to perform Carpet, Upholstery and Emergency / Bio-Hazard Maintenance Services at its locations throughout Jefferson County. The Library requires its carpet & upholstery to be maintained to the highest standards of professional services. Carpet & upholstery maintenance services should be managed in the most resource-efficient manner possible. The use of manufacturer recommended process and industry best practices, balanced with the use of cleaning chemicals that minimize environmental impacts is required. Our goal is to accept proposals from companies with specific experience, resources and qualifications to perform the proposed services as outlined in this RFP. The Library will select the company best qualified to provide these services with competitive pricing. JCPL includes 11 separate buildings all located in Jefferson County. These buildings are a mix of 9 public libraries, Library Administration (AD) which is connected to the Lakewood Library, the Library Service Center (LSC), and with the Facilities (FAC) and Foundation (FN) building, all totaling approximately 250,357 square feet of cleaning space. See Floor Finishes in RFP for details. JCPL locations are open to the public 7 days a week, while Administration and the Library Service Center primarily operate Monday - Friday.

Mandatory Site Walk: DUE TO COVID, ONLY PRE-REGISTERED VENDORS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND SITE WALKS WITH ONLY 1 ATTENDEE PER VENDOR.Pre-registration is required by emailing RFP@jeffcolibrary.org the registration requirements (see bidder checklist). Completed Certification of Experience and a letter of good
standing from the Colorado Secretary of State office (dated within 2021) to Procurement@jeffcolibrary.org by 12pm MST / Noon on Monday 3/8/2021. Site walk is Tuesday 3/9/2021 from 8am-5pm and details of start location/route will be provided upon confirmation of pre-registration completion.Due no later than Monday 03/08/2021 by 12pm/Noon MST. Please plan on 8a-5p MST & full day attendance is required. In the case of extreme weather conditions we will reschedule for the following week. Lunch break TBD as a group.
