Through this RFP process, Jefferson County School District R-1 (District) intends to identify and select potential partner(s) (“proposers”) to participate in negotiations to outline, plan, and execute an expense benchmarking and analysis, and budget restructuring and optimization recommendations to be presented to the Superintendent, Board of Education and families of Jefferson County. The District will identify potential partners, initial scopes of work, and initial project budgets through this RFP. The identified potential partners will be invited to engage in further conversation and competitive negotiations with the District for a final award and contract. Potential Partners will not be compensated for the proposal, or negotiation processes.

A pre-proposal conference will be held as specified in the Tentative RFP and Project Timeline via Microsoft Teams, web conference. While attendance is not mandatory, all potential proposers are strongly encouraged to attend. This conference reviews the RFP requirements, answers questions, and provides needed clarifications. Any oral responses given at the pre-proposal conference are not binding. All questions and answers will be issued in writing to all prospective offerors after the conference. Only written amendments can modify the terms of this RFP.

All pre-proposal attendees are to RSVP to be added to the event. The RSVP deadline for this conference is as stated in the Tentative RFP and Project Timeline. Late RSVPs may not be admitted to the meeting. The meeting information and attendance link will be provided in response to the RSVP.
