26079 - ERP Managed Services

Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process, the District is seeking responses from qualified Proposers to procure Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Managed Services. 
Business Technology Support is responsible for maintaining the District’s ERP system for financial and human resource management Oracle PeopleSoft. A team of The District employees which includes system administrators, developers, technical/ functional analysts and business analyst/project managers currently maintain this system in an on-premises installation. Recruiting experienced candidates for key PeopleSoft technical work is becoming increasingly difficult. Finding available PeopleSoft consultants is also time consuming and expensive. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the District has spent time talking to other higher education leaders about staffing challenges associated with technical support of ERP products within the education industry and found staffing and retention in this particular area to be a common problem. Within those conversations, it was noted that an increasingly effective strategy is to enter into a partnership with a managed services provider. It is our desire to work with a managed service provider for remote development and technical support of the ERP.
