Summary of Specifications:
The District has published this Formal Bid process in order to solicit firm price quotations for purchase of UPS (uninterrupted power supply) units to service network switches and routers in support of the District's Unified Communications project.

The District intends to enter into an agreement with a UPS vendor or distributor to purchase individual UPS units. The UPS units are to be installed by District personnel in all the IDF and some MDF locations District wide. All UPS units will be sized appropriately to provide a minimum of 15 minutes battery backup run time for the loads associated (Defined in Specifications Section of this Formal Bid) with the size of the UPS unit. All UPS units will provide uninterrupted, filtered power to Cisco network devices.
