Summary of Specifications:
Scope of Work: The work will be structured and planned so Jefferson County can improve various locations with road width restrictions, sight distance, and possible safety issues due to rock outcroppings. The bidder will be responsible for drilling and blasting defined areas within legally described or staked right-of-way. The bidder is also required to provide all traffic control per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards in order to safely perform this work. All costs associated with traffic control will not be paid for separately, but shall be included in the unit price per cubic yard. Bid prices per cubic yard shall include initial mobilization. Subsequent mobilization will be paid as indicated in the bid.
