Summary of Specifications:
Jefferson County is accepting proposals from interested Certified Public Accounting firms who are qualified under state laws and regulations, for the performance of a financial and compliance audit of the County for the years ending December 31, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The County proposes to establish a contract for these services. The initial term of the contract will be for one (1) year. The contract may be extended for not more than four (4) one-year periods, at terms and conditions mutually agreeable. Said extension(s) shall only be made if satisfactory service has been provided in the preceding contract period.
