Summary of Specifications:
The Airport plans to award a five-year contract for Environmental Planning Services, which may include, but are not limited to, any necessary environmental work in accordance with FAA Order 5050.4B, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Implementing Instructions for Airport Actions, and FAA Order 1050.1E, Policies and Procedures for Considering Environmental Impacts associated with the following projects:
• Primary Runway 11L/29R enhancement (rehabilitation, reconstruction, etc.) • East Development Improvements (Extension of Taxiway A-3, Development of SRE Facility) • Parallel Runway 11R/29L enhancement (rehabilitation, reconstruction, etc.) • Release of Airport owned land for the Jefferson Parkway project • Release of Airport owned land, Section 5 for non-aviation development • Release of non-aviation property at Wadsworth Parkway and Metro Airport Avenue intersection for retail development • Airfield drainage enhancement projects including improvements to retention and detention ponds on Airport property
The Airport Environmental Planning Services are to be accomplished in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5100-14D, Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects. These services may be provided over several grant projects, but no longer than five (5) years from the date a contract is entered into.
