Description

Provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary for the printing the items used to mail out the tax notices and inside delivery to the Jefferson County Treasurer.

- Tax Notices –

The Jefferson County Tax Notice is an 8 1/2" X 14", non-continuous form printed on two sides with one (1) PMS color ink – no bleeds. Paper is to be 60lb opaque - long grain, Sheet fed printed (not web printed), Laser compatible. 2 Microperf (perf must withstand laser processing AND folding processing yet tear with ease) across the bottom quarter and middle of the form. Deliver forms to Treasurer flat in boxes facing the same direction. DO NOT set forms on their sides.
***Note, the delinquent notices used for the July mailing are 8 ½” x 11 with on coupon”.

NOTE: Vendor may be asked to provide samples.

- Post Cards

The Jefferson County Post Card is the standard 5” x 7” (if postage is the same as the 4” x 6”, if not use 4” x 6”)), non-continuous form printed on two sides with one (1) PMS color ink – no bleeds. Data printing will be done on both sides of the post card.

- Legends

The special tax district legends are 8 1/2” x 14”, 20# bond white recycled, 2-sided print with one (1) PMS color ink, folded down to 8 1/2” x 3 3/4”.

- #9 return wallet envelopes

With perforation, #24 white woven, die cut, side seams, 2-sided print, PMS black ink.

- #10 window envelopes

White woven, die cut diagonal seam, full glue, window size 1 1/2" deep x 4 1/2” wide. Position is 15/16” from left side, 7/16” up from bottom. Printed on one side, PMS 512U ink with postal permit printed on the front of this envelope.

The vendor will:

Print on both sides of the form and laser image tax figures & text on one side of the property tax form of approximately 110,000 tax notices for January mailing. The OCR scan line cannot very in position.
Fold and insert printed tax notice.
Insert the folded legend forms.
Insert return envelope.
Print on both sides and mail approximately 120,000 post cards for those notices that have the indicator of a mortgage company is paying the taxes. This is a separate file.
Vendor will provide printing, stuffing, mailing and postage for those schedules for those that have multiple schedules (15 or more) under the same ownership and address. Bill separate.
Deliver sealed mail to the post office using their Presorted First-Class mail US Postage Paid with a Permit No.

Delinquent notices with be laser image on one side of the property tax form, with only the return envelope inserted
