Jefferson County is seeking a document signing software, such as a software-as-a-service (SaaS), platform that allows users to electronically sign, send, and manage documents. The case managers are required to obtain signatures from members and providers for service plans, releases of information, service plan revisions, and applications for services. In this environment, the County needs a more effective and efficient way of obtaining and tracking receipt of signatures than mailing out documents for required signatures. In addition, the platform also provides an efficient way for supervisors to sign Notice of Actions, 3rd Party Agreements, and other documents requiring signatures. The software/platform should be FedRAMP compliant. FedRAMP establishes the standard for the US Government to assess and authorize the security of cloud services, which is how these documents are managed. DocuSign is currently used in Jefferson County; therefore, software/platform should be DocuSign or an equivalent which is compatible with DocuSign.
