Summary of Specifications:
Notice is hereby given that La Plata County will accept sealed bids for one (1) 2012 heavy duty, diesel powered, 60,000 lb. GVWR, heavy duty vacuum type water truck. One (1) original and one (1) complete copies of the sealed bid, clearly marked “2012 Water Truck”, will be received by the administrative staff of the La Plata County Procurement Department, 235 Bodo Drive, Durango, Colorado 81303 until 2:45 p.m. January 26, 2012. As soon as practical after the closing time, the bids shall be opened in public and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time shall be returned, unopened, to the bidder.
