RFP-08-090-2200 - Annual Independent Audit

Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County (the County) invites qualified individuals or firms to submit proposals for certified public accountants to audit the County’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2008, with the option, on mutual agreement, of auditing the County’s financial statements for each of the four subsequent fiscal years, subject to continued availability and appropriation of such funds. The County desires the auditor to express an opinion on the fair presentation of its financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. The audit shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards as promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and applicable state and federal regulations.
