Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County (County) is requesting sealed bids for the crushing of various classes of aggregate base course. The two named pits, Hubbs and Crader, are owned or leased by La Plata County. The operators will mobilize into these pits for crushing. The undesignated pits are to be owned or leased by the bidder and the location shall be designated on the bid form. County reserves the right to make minor adjustments in quantities awarded if necessary to meet budgetary constraints. County reserves the right to separate the gravel crushing work to more than one contractor. County reserves the right to consider the haul cost from the Undesignated Pit location to each project location when evaluating and awarding the bid
