Summary of Specifications:
• Demolition and disposal of the existing bridge deck. • Removal and disposal of existing CMP culvert. • Install a pre-cast concrete box culvert (CDOT Standard M-603-3) 11 feet high by 14 feet wide and 102 feet long, including construction of wing walls, head walls, cut-off walls, excavation and embankment, aggregate base course, and hot bituminous pavement. (Note: La Plata County will furnish the four sided culvert). • Reconstruction of approximately 320 feet of roadway: including removal of removal of asphalt, placement of ABC gravels, asphalt replacement and guardrail installation.
• Placement and removal of traffic control signs barricades, and drum channelizing devices, • flagging, and final placement of traffic signing, striping, and delineators. County Road 141 shall remain open during the course of construction with the assistance of traffic control. Limited traffic delays are anticipated. The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance of traffic control, and the road surface during the evenings, weekends and holidays as applicable. Closure of one lane of traffic during non-working hours is anticipated, one lane of traffic shall remain open at all times. • Riprap, Hot Bituminous Pavement , Pavement striping, Construction surveying, Seeding and Mulching andCleanup, backfilling, re-grading, restoring and re-vegetating
