Notice is hereby given that La Plata County will accept sealed bids for County Road 234 Improvements (CR235 to CR228), a reconstruction of approximately 0.50 miles of roadway. Bidder must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held 10:00 a.m. April 10, 2009 at Road and Bridge Fleet Facility 1365 S. Camino Del Rio, Durango, Colorado One (1) original sealed bid, clearly marked “County Road 234 Improvements (CR235 to CR228)”, will be received by the administrative staff of the La Plata County Procurement Division, 235 Bodo Drive, Durango, Colorado 81303 until 10:00 a.m. April 23, 2009. As soon as practical after the closing time, the bids shall be opened in public and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time shall be returned, unopened, to the bidder. Bid specifications and/or supporting documents can be downloaded, at no charge from Rocky Mountain EPurchasing System http://www.govbids.com/scripts/co1/public/OpenBids/SelectAgency. sp In order to receive bid specifications, firms must obtain the documents from the Rocky Mountain E-purchasing system or complete the bidders registration to receive documents in person at the Procurement Division 235 Bodo Drive, Durango, Colorado 81303 along with a refundable fee of $40.00 for 11 X 17 drawings and bound spec book.
