Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking qualified bidders to deliver the Employment First Program. The La Plata County Department of Human Services (County) is the agency responsible for administration of Food Assistance and therefore receives federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) funds which must be used to provide those services to Food Assistance recipients as required by federal regulations. Employment First is a federally mandated program that increases employment for food assistance participants through support, referrals, accountability, and community work.
