IFB-11-017-4100 - Hot Mix Asphalt ( Loose Only)

Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County Road and Bridge Maintenance Department is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the production of loose hot mix material for use by road maintenance crews. The County shall add a haul cost to the price to determine the final cost. County purchases approximately 5,500 tons of loose hot mix material annually. At this time we see no major variations of average annual quantities. This estimate is offered as an example and not as a commitment to purchase. Specific Purchase Orders shall be placed 24 hours in advance of production on an “as needed basis”.
