RFP-14-009-2203 - Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Services

Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County is requesting written proposals from qualified contractors to provide Hazardous Waste Disposal Services to screen; handle; transport; and recycle, treat, or dispose of “Household Hazardous Waste” received from residents during a one-day drive-through HHW Collection Event. By separate agreement, La Plata County (County) is partnering with City of Durango (City) in the funding of this project. The 2014 Event is scheduled for October 4, 2014. The Contractor is being asked if they are available that date, and if not, to propose alternate dates for consideration.
