RFP-09-004-5200 - La Plata County Comprehensive Community Plan

Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County is pursuing a major update to the existing Comprehensive Community Plan. The existing comprehensive plan is overdue for an update, and additional long range document plans currently being used are out of date. La Plata County is seeking a qualified consultant team to assist in the major update of the Comprehensive Community Plan. The team will be charged with providing innovative, creative and unique approaches which will position La Plata County as the preeminent rural county in the inter-mountain west in addressing land use issues. The update will be a substantial effort requiring the inclusion of county staff, elected and appointed officials, community members, and citizens groups.
