RFP-09-064-4200 - La Plata County Multi-Agency Gun Range Facility Design

Summary of Specifications:
The La Plata County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified civil engineering consultant to complete the Preliminary and Final Design of La Plata County Gun Range. The project is located in La Plata County Colorado, approximately 1.25 miles north from the intersection of CR 213 and River Rd. The existing range is located on the west side of CR 213 at the gravel pullout and gate. The intent of the site design is to improve site access, drainage and safety while increasing the size and number of shooting ranges for the local law enforcement agencies. The intent of the Gun Range Design is to upgrade the existing range by implementing current best management practices for lead mitigation, constructing improvements for the access road, site grading and drainage, parking lots, and to create additional gun ranges, increasing the functionality of the entire site and enhancing the safety of existing gun rangesdesign effort.
