Summary of Specifications:
La Plata County is soliciting proposals for engineering from a qualified firm (Consultant) for the design of a new Pump Station on the Animas River below the Fleet Maintenance and Road & Bridge District I Shop (Shop). The purpose of the proposed pump station is to provide water from the Animas River to an existing tank for subsequent use by the Road and Bridge Department as dust control/suppression and construction water. The County has conditional water rights on the Animas River. This location is an alternate point of diversion per the final decree, which allows no more than 0.44 cfs to be pumped.
