Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this project is to achieve compliance with the tax requirements for vacation rentals. The popularity of vacation rentals of furnished apartments, condominium and homes has grown across the country as an alternative to traditional lodging such as hotels especially in high tourist areas. La Plata County is no exception with tourism being a significant part of our economic base. In summary, La Plata County would like to engage the services of a qualified consultant to research potential vacation rentals: develop a communication plan; develop a database of properties; educate owners; and develop and implement follow up communication.
