Summary of Specifications:
The scope of this proposal is to procure computers and related equipment that directly connects to expand the function of the computers, such as, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, ultrabooks, workstations, backup devices, monitors, input devices, memory, external storage devices, docking stations, port replicators, network interface cards, academic software, operating systems, etc. This may include mobile devices such as tablets and other specialized computers.
This is a requirements contract to provide a ready source for the procurement of specific “network ready” computer hardware, software, related services, warranty and miscellaneous components as required by the proposal.
The Desired software agreements include, but are not limited to: a Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) Agreement and a Microsoft Select Agreement.
The related services should include assisting the District in planning, implementing, and maintaining the hardware and software. These services include, but are not limited to: web-based product selection for purchasing, hardware planning, backup and recovery, storage management/consolidation, server consolidation, virtualization, systems management, installation, custom factory/manufacturer installation, disposal & recycling, hardware and software training & support.
