Summary of Specifications:
Laramie County School District Number One desires to purchase a “turnkey” service that is able to meet and/or exceed our requirements as set forth in this Proposal. The preferred proposal shall include purchase, implementation, support, upgrades, maintenance, training, licenses and warranty.
The vendor’s solution should allow District staff to access a non-editable District created curriculum for each course that includes the following:
• definition of standards addressed • scope and sequence (ordered curricular units) • pacing calendars and guides • digital unit planner • analysis tool to help teachers analyze areas of curricular strengths and weaknesses and to create individualized learning plans • shared storage space or teachers to post and instructional materials and best practices that align with curricular objectives • share materials and curricular objectives with other staff • District level control of curricular framework, instructional materials templates and permission settings.
Key benefits of the Curriculum and Instructional Management software will allow:
• The District to continuously design, renew, review and monitor curriculum maps • Teachers to leverage best practices throughout the District with shared lessons, materials and resources • The District to deploy a standards-aligned District-wide curriculum and scope and sequence through centralized created, management and dissemination tools
