It is the intent of the District to make E-Readers or like devices available to homeless students across the city in an effort to increase their reading rates, abilities, and opportunities. We anticipate these devices being centrally administered by the district but used outside the classroom by a varying age range of students with varying levels of technical understanding, and with little to no support onsite.
