08-RFP-2036 - Emergency Radio System and Service

Summary of Specifications:
The District is seeking proposals for an Emergency Two-Way Radio System and related services. The primary purpose of this request is for Emergency, Two-Way Radio communications between Administration and all schools (26 Elementary, 3 Jr. High, 4 High Schools, and 5 district buildings). Each building will have a portable two-way radio available during an emergency to communicate with the administration office. If a school would like additional handsets for use during an emergency or operational use they would purchase them from the winning vendor from their own budget. The proposer should provide pricing for an outright purchase, including installation, configuration, administrative and end user training and on-going maintenance. The proposer should also honor their pricing for 12 months after District acceptance of installation.
