Description

The Board of Larimer County Commissioners will only be accepting Bids electronically submitted via the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (Bidnet Direct) portal, at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado, up to 2:00 P.M. (MT), on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Description of Work: Phase 1 of The Ranch’s Master Plan implementation consists of this infrastructure bid package for the relocation of Arena Circle, construction of Andalusian Road, extension of Clydesdale Parkway, and signalization and improvements of two Fairgrounds Avenue intersections. Regrading of detention ponds and construction of a 24-inch transmission waterline for the Fort Collins Loveland Water District are also included.

The work consists of 64,000 CY of unclassified excavation, 65,400 CY of cement treated subgrade, 26,500 tons of aggregate base course placement, 24,500 tons of hot mix asphalt paving, 3,700 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe, various concrete flatwork, electrical street lighting, 5,700 linear feet of 24 inch diameter watermain, two signalized intersections, various landscaping and associated irrigation systems consisting of 28,000 linear feet of irrigation piping, other miscellaneous and associated site work, and necessary traffic control.

Vendors are requested (not required) to attend and participate in the conference. Vendors should read the entire Invitation to Bid document prior to the meeting. **THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PRE-BID MEETING OFFERED**

This meeting will take place in a Zoom video conference. You must register in advance to attend this conference. Additional Bidding Instructions

It is not necessary to return the entire Bid Package for the Bid Opening. Submittal of one (1) pdf file containing the following documents is required (in the order as specified below). Vendors need to submit all information as one (1) pdf file please:

2. Bid Bond

3. Anti-Collusion Affidavit

4. Certificate of Intent to Sublet

5. Bid Schedule

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the contractor’s bid, without conditions, payable to Larimer County or your bid will be considered non-responsive and your bid will be rejected. The sample Bid Bond included in these bid documents should be used.

Each bid must contain a unit bid price for each item shown in the Bid Schedule and a completed Certificate of Intent to Sublet. Failure to include unit bid prices and Certificate may be cause for rejection. The signed anti-collusion affidavit shall be submitted with the bid; the bid will be rejected if it does not contain the completed anti-collusion form.
