RFP 4-19-1 - Integrated Security Consultant

Arapahoe County School District #6, Littleton Public Schools (LPS) is requesting proposals from qualified firms, to provide the District with an Integrated Security Consultant for the 2018 District-wide Bond Program.

LPS is seeking a consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of the security infrastructure of LPS and make recommendations on existing or alternative systems to include, but not limited to:
 

1. Describe how your firm will act as a security consultant in the following areas:
   1. 1. 1. Secure entrances (directed vestibules)
         2. Buzz-in systems (Aiphone or equivalent) 
         3. Visitor management software
         4. Closed Circuit TV (CCTv)
         5. Mass notification (radio, PA, SMS, smart phone)
         6. Panic systems
         7. Lockdown, lockout buttons for physical access control, on-site notification and notification to district security office
         8. Intrusion/fire alarm monitoring (Security Information Software)
         9. Electronic Building Access (Vanderbuilt SMS)
         10. Shatter proof window lamination
         11. Door hardware (Secure Classroom or Columbine locks)
         12. Integration with existing IT Infrastructure and Systems
         13. Security panel communication system (activation/deactivation of intrusion alarms)
         14. District IDs
         15. CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)
         16. Radio Infrastructure (UHF, VHF, 700/800 MHz, Interoperability)
         17. Describe past experiences with similar projects. Discuss challenges, successes and lessons learned.
