The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) invites qualified individuals to submit proposals to provide consulting and technical Services to create a new LFPD website. The LFPD also seeks to implement a cohesive branding standard for all online LFPD Services. The LFPD's website serves as a front door to direct the public to Services and information. LFPD strives to use the website to meet or exceed the community's expectations for excellent customer service, accessibility, transparency, and innovation through a user-centered approach.
The selected vendor for this Project will enable LFPD's website to continue to serve as a tool for our citizens, visitors, and companies doing business in the district. This Project's scope will include providing an online service delivery platform that can integrate with existing online Services and current standalone systems. The selected vendor will add analytics, digital forms, a scheduler/calendar, a search feature, and self-service features for external users (citizens, contractors) and internal staff. The selected vendor will also recommend adding, improving, and streamlining Services on the website to benefit users and customers to increase organizational efficiency.
Note: LFPD may remove existing information from the current website to put in a database and an Intranet/Portal for internal staff use. The Intranet/Portal development may become part of this Project. The LFPD reserves the option to include additional related Services for LFPD's website and Intranet, such as a Member's Portal upgrade, self-service tools, integration to our SharePoint site, etc., in the vendor contract.
