RFP-1415/048 - NETWORK MONITORING

Summary of Specifications:
STATEMENT OF WORK Mesa County Valley School District 51(MVCSD) is seeking proposals for network monitoring. • MCVSD is comprised of 48 sites that are primarily on a 100meg fiber ring to each site that is provided by Charter Communications. o MCVSD is a layer 2 network with no access to the layer 3 or routers or VLANing.  Each site has an MDF and multiple IDFs o All sites are a Cisco Catalyst 2960 infrastructure with a 2960X for the core switch. This can provide Cisco’s Netflow Lite.  There are some DELL switches in the network. 

• MCVSD in 2016 is moving to a 10gig infrastructure to each site which will terminate into the MCVSD’s data center to a layer 3 infrastructure.
