Project Summary:
The Public Works Department of Mesa County is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Consultants interested in performing the necessary tasks to prepare a Planning Environmental Linkages document (PEL).  Mesa County’s goal is to obtain all approvals and to implement an interchange connecting 29 Road to I-70.  The first step in this process is providing a PEL to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for a determination that will deem the project reasonable to progress so that a Request for Interstate Access can be prepared and approved by CDOT and a formal request can be made by CDOT to the Federal Highway Administration..
A pre-submittal conference will be held for all potential firms on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Multi Purpose Room A at the Mesa County Central Service Building located at 200 South Spruce, Grand Junction, CO  81502.  Enter the building by the west door which is marked:  Elections.  Turn left and go down the hall to the Multi Purpose Room.
