4-2021 - IT Replacement Plan RFP

PCCLD is seeking assistance from qualified individual(s)/firm(s) to assist with
updating the asset useful lives and replacement costs maintained on the library IT
asset replacement plan.
The consultant will assist the library in creating a tactical plan for a technology
replacement schedule. The plan will be a reflective creation of best practices found
in Information Technology and Library Technology disciplines.
The plan will include the creation of a framework for annual library assessment and
possible actions, likely to include:
1. Assess
2. Replace, switch to alternate resources (including cloud options); or eliminate;
3. Create (agility to meet emerging needs)
The scope of work will include a review of the library's current technology
inventory (assessment) and make recommendations for
replacement/alternate/creation as defined by the plan metrics.
