Project Scope and Requirements: The project involves the design, procurement, installation, and
commissioning of a comprehensive pedestrian lighting system throughout a 30-acre garden. There
are two scopes to this project outlined below.
A. Venue Areas: Part A of the project focuses on lighting within venue areas including
infrastructures, trees, and lawns. This includes a lighting system that will create an elegant
and inviting ambiance for pedestrian pathways and venues that host various events, including
weddings, receptions, holidays parties, and other evening functions. In these areas lighting
will add to the functionality of the space by placing strategic lighting on or around venue areas
to create a more inviting and versatile atmosphere for private rentals. SEE EXHIBIT A
B. Pedestrian Pathways: Part B of the project focuses on lighting throughout the garden
pathways and attention to safety. The lighting system will enhance safety and accessibility on
pathways within the gardens. This portion includes the removal of current light bollards along
pedestrian pathways. SEE EXHIBIT B
III. The contractor will work closely with SSPRD and Hudson Gardens to ensure all lighting aligns with
aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements. Please detail the following:
