General Description - The work to be performed under this contract includes removal & replacement of asphalt mat, heating & scarifying, milling of asphalt pavement, asphalt pavement overlay, the application of Seal Coat (GSB 88), crack seal, mastic and slurry seal type II. The removal & replacement of sidewalk, curb & gutter, and concrete pavement and silicone sealant. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The contractor shall adhere to the Town’s Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) manual for all stages of the project. The contract shall be awarded based on bids received and the contract documents. A schedule of sequencing of all work shall be submitted at or before the project pre-construction meeting, and approved by the Town prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed.
“Service Center Front Parking Lot” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Seal coat (GSB 88), and asphalt patching shall be completed in two (2) phases, one (1) phase per day or as approved by the Project Manager. Concrete work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Public Works Department staff.
“Service Center Back Parking Lot” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Concrete pavement remove and replace, shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Public Works Department staff.
“Red Hawk Golf Course Parking Lot (North Half)” concrete and asphalt patching work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Concrete work and asphalt patching shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. Asphalt mill & overlay work shall be night work (9pm to 6am), and shall be completed in two (2) nights. One night for milling operations and one night for paving and temporary pavement marking operations. All work shall be coordinated with Red Hawk Club House and Red Hawk Golf Course staff. All work shall take place in September.
“Red Hawk Maintenance Shop” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. - 5p.m. Concrete, slurry seal and asphalt patching work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Parks and Recreation Department staff.
“Rhyolite Park Parking Lot” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. Concrete work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Parks and Recreation Department staff.
“Recreation Center Parking Lot” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Milling & Overlay, and asphalt patching shall be completed during the week of August 9 – August 13, 2021 or as approved by the Project Manager. Concrete work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Parks and Recreation Department staff.
“Castle Oaks 6 Well Field” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Castle Oaks 7 Well Field” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. - 5p.m. Asphalt patching, Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Canyon South Well Field” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Woodlands 1 Well Field” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Tank 16” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. - 5p.m. Asphalt patching, Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Prairie Hawk Well Field (A7)” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Seal coat (GSB 88), and asphalt patching shall be completed in two (2) phases, one (1) phase per day or as approved by the Project Manager. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Seller’s Gulch Lift Station” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
“Mitchell Creek Lift Station” work shall take place during normal weekdays from 7a.m. – 5p.m. Crack Seal, Mastic and Seal Coat (GSB 88), work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. Concrete work shall be completed in a manner to maximize access and parking. All work shall be coordinated with Castle Rock Water Department staff.
The contractor shall commence work no later than three (3) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed, and be construction complete (punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within thirty-five (35) working days from the date on the Notice to Proceed. All work shall take place during the timeframe of September 6, 2021 – October 29, 2021.
