General Description – The work to be performed under this Concrete Safety Improvement Project contract includes the contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract and the project specifications. The work to be performed under this contract will include the installation of concrete sidewalk, raised concrete crosswalk, concrete median, curb and gutter, mountable curb, earthwork, grading, and asphalt pavement. The contract shall be awarded based on the unit prices for the work shown in Bid Schedule “A,B,C,D,E,and F”, and the contract documents. The Town may award all, one, or any other combination of work Schedule. Appendix “A” (Initial list) represents known quantities at the time of the bid. The contractor will maintain unit prices through December 31, 2023. Work shall commence no later than three (3) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed, and construction shall be complete (including punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within forty (40) working days. All work on bid schedules shall take place during the timeframe of April 13, 2023 – November 5, 2023, or as approved by the Project Manager.
