SW-RFP2022-03 - Engineering Design Services for East Plum Creek/Sellars Gulch Confluence Project

Castle Rock Water is seeking a Consultant Team to provide engineering design services for the East
Plum Creek/Sellars Gulch Confluence Project. The Confluence Project is located in downtown
Castle Rock and is currently experiencing stream stabilization issues, lack of water quality treatment
and provides limited recreational and public use opportunities. This project provides a unique
opportunity to restore the natural stream functions of East Plum Creek and Sellars Gulch while
enhancing wildlife habitat, water quality and increasing recreation and community spaces. This project
generally includes stream channel improvements along East Plum Creek and Sellars Gulch, regional
water quality for downtown Castle Rock, incorporation of additional soft surface trails, and incorporation
of public realm elements such as picnic areas, boardwalk etc. (see Attachment 1 for Site Map).
Expertise is solicited in survey, geotechnical, floodplain analysis, trail design, water quality design,
water control, landscape/revegetation, easement exhibit preparation, environmental permitting and
FEMA CLOMR/LOMR approval.
