The Town of Castle Rock is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for a partnership in offering community instruction in arts and enrichment programing to be located in the Cantril School. The selected partner will be responsible for coordinating with the Town of Castle Rock Parks and Recreation Department to offer contracted instructional programming to the public in arts and enrichment programming. Programming included in this partnership is non-exclusive and will not replace current contracted offerings however, this partnership may supplement and or enhance programming with similar or more advanced offerings.
The selected partner will receive 70% of the gross revenue with the Town receiving 30% of the gross revenue raised in registration fees. The Town will coordinate and administer all program registration and assist in promotion through Town operated systems and publication. In addition, the selected partner will be responsible for paying the Town of Castle Rock an annual Facility Capital Improvement Fee to be negotiated at the time of setting up a contract. The selected partner will also be allocated a dedicated administrative space within the Cantril School and may be requested to consult on future capital improvements/investments in the Cantril School. Responses to this request for proposal (RFP) may be submitted electronically or in hard copy, which will be retained by the Town and not returned to the proposing party. Proposals will be accepted at Miller Activity Complex at Philip S. Miller Park, 1375 W. Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock, CO 80109, or via email to dwahl@crgov.com until 4:00 p.m. MST, Monday, April 8, 2024. Proposals received later than the referenced time will not be accepted for review or consideration. An optional walk-through of Cantril School, 312 Cantril St, Castle Rock, CO 80104 will occur on March 25, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. MST. Parks and Recreation Staff will be on hand to provide a guided tour of the facility and identify areas of the facility available for programming.
