The Town of Castle Rock’s (Town) Public Works Department is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide management services and general technical support for the Downtown Alley Master Plan Project. The proposals should include scope of services, hour and fee estimate, and schedule for completion. The final selection will be determined by scope, qualifications, and completion schedule. Upon award of selection, the selected firm is required to attend the scoping with CDOT prior to final contract negotiations. The cost to attend this meeting shall be borne by the consultant. The project has received funding for the project through a Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) grant using Federal Surface Transportation Block Grant funds.
The Town is accepting proposals from consulting firms having expertise or partnering capability in:
• Transportation planning and design of municipal roadways
• Design of bike and pedestrian facilities
• Underground Utility Investigation
• Storm drainage design associated with transportation projects
• Public outreach and engagement
• Ability to coordinate and build consensus with needs of different stakeholders
• Understand the concepts of Placemaking
• Descriptive designs and illustrations for each candidate alley. This may consist of conceptual designs, sketches, and visualizations to build consensus
• Cost estimating
