The work to be performed under this contract generally includes Clearing and Grubbing, Removal of
Existing Improvements, Dewatering, Asphalt Pavement, Concrete Pavement, Concrete Sidewalk, Concrete Curb & Gutter, Reinforced Concrete Pipe, HDPE Pipe, Storm Sewer Inlets, Storm Sewer Manholes, Culvert Lining, Modular Block Wall, Riprap, PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe, Sanitary Sewer Service Connections; Ductile Iron Pipe, PVC Water Pipe, Water Service Adjustments, Water Service Connections; Handrail, Fencing, and Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) Items.
Work items are to be completed in accordance with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Mile High Flood District (MHFD) Technical Specifications, Town of Castle Rock (Town) Construction Methodology & Materials Manual, and all other applicable Town standards and details. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications.
Contractor shall verify actual field conditions prior to construction. Prospective bidders should investigate the site of work, including construction access and staging areas, sufficiently to satisfy themselves of the extent and conditions of the project.
The Contractor is responsible for obtaining State Stormwater Discharge and Dewatering permits. The Contractor shall also obtain Right-of-Way and TESC permits with the Town. Applicable fees for the ROW permit shall be paid by the CONTRACTOR. There are no fees associated with the TESC permit.
