The Town of Frederick, Colorado (the “Town”) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the provision of single-family residential trash and recyclable materials (i.e., solid waste) collection services. The Town has given notice that it intends to enter into a contract with one or more waste disposal companies to provide non-exclusive waste disposal services, including recycling services, for residents of the Town.
The services specified in this Request for Proposal ("RFP") are for a contract to provide solid waste collection. Participation in the town-wide solid waste collection program is mandatory; there are no exceptions. The Town intends to award a Contract as a result of this RFP process. A start date for collection services is to be set by mutual agreement between the Town and Contractor, anticipated to be January 1, 2025. Questions may be referred to, and photocopies of this RFP may be obtained from the Administration Department at (720) 382-5801. Proposals shall be sent to the Town Manager, 401 Locust Street, PO Box 435, Frederick, CO 80530 in a sealed envelope marked: “Town of Frederick Solid Waste Collection” and shall be received by 12:00 p.m. on November 1, 2024.
