Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Lyons Public Works Department invites proposals from companies that specialize in the design and installation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems capable of monitoring and controlling water systems throughout the Town of Lyons and vicinity. It is the goal of the Town of Lyons to update the SCADA system for two (2) existing PRV stations; add for two (2) existing stations, add for one (1) new PRV station, update for the existing High Service Pump Station and the 1 Apple Valley Tank using a modular cellular, radio, wired or Ethernet RTU with built in Human Machine Interface (HMI). Proposers to this RFP will be responsible for providing a turn-key solution including evaluation of existing systems for integration, all necessary system design, equipment, installation, programming, configuration, testing, training, commissioning and startup to provide the Town of Lyons a complete and operable SCADA system. In addition to the base work above, the Town of Lyons is seeking an alternate add to the project to provide a SCADA system for three (3) existing wastewater lift stations located in Town, including scalability to add more in the future. The SCADA system will have similar requirements as the water system above and must also interface with the new systems installed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
