The Town of Mancos, CO will be receiving sealed bids at Town Hall, 117 North Main, Mancos, Colorado, no later than 2:00P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at which time they will be opened and read aloud considering the following:
Mancos US 160/Beech St. Pedestrian Crossing
Town of Mancos, Montezuma County, CO
Federal Aid Project No. TAP M840-004, Construction Project Code No.20512
This project will be for the construction of an at-grade pedestrian-safe crossing on US Highway 160 at the intersection of Beech St. The proposed crossing will be comprised of a low height concrete barrier for pedestrian refuge in the center median, reconstructed right-in/right-out island, new island, new signing and crosswalk striping, and coordination with CDOT who will install a solar-powered Rapid Flash Beacon (RFB).
The Town of Mancos reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals.
The Town of Mancos, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The contract goal for participation in this Contract by certified DBEs who have been determined to be underutilized have been established to be 0%.
This project is not exempt from Davis Bacon wage requirements. All bidders shall be CDOT prequalified. Only bids from prequalified bidders will be considered.
An EEO-1 Report must be submitted to the Joint Reporting Committee if the contractor and subcontractors meet the eligibility requirements (29CFR 1602.7). For additional information regarding these federal requirements, please refer to:

Bid documents and specifications will be on the Town of Mancos website at http://mancoscolorado.com/business/job-openings-and-bid-opportunities/ starting January 17, 2017. Questions must be submitted no later than February 1, 2017 by 3:00 p.m. Answers will be posted on the Town of Mancos website by 11:00 a.m. on February 6, 2017.
Prospective Bidders should notify the Town upon downloading of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be placed on the Bidder’s list and notified of any addenda. Any addenda issued will also be posted on the Town of Mancos website at this location. Anyone not notifying the Town to be placed on the Bidder’s list will not be notified of the addenda and shall be responsible for checking the website for posted addenda.
