The Town of Mead is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform intersection improvements at the intersection of 3rd Street and Welker Avenue in the Town of Mead. This intersection is the crossing of the two primary arterials in the heart of Downtown. Major intersection improvements include installation of new curb, gutter, sidewalk, ped ramps, regional trail/bike lane, median, asphalt/concrete paving, turn lanes, streetscape, traffic signal, storm pipe, railroad crossings, building demolition, and utility relocations/coordination. This is a unit price federal-aid project with a 7% DBE goal.
