Description

The Project generally consists of installing Town supplied pipe and materials except as noted. All materials comply with American Iron and Steel requirements but are NOT subject to Build America Buy America Act requirements.

Installing approximately 20,000 linear feet of 2”, 4”, 6” and 8” DR18 C900 PVC and Schedule 80 pipe and fittings
Installing approximately 2,000 linear feet of temporary 2” HDPE bypass pipe
Installing 32 gate valve assemblies in 2”, 4”, 6” and 8” sizes with cast iron valve covers
Installing 8 fire hydrant assemblies with guard valves
Installing two (2) master flow monitoring meter assemblies in contractor supplied 72” diameter concrete manholes
Installing 86 service reconnections (saddle taps, corporation stops, ¾” piping, etc.) (46 by directional boring method under County roads, 40 by open cut method)
