The Town of Firestone is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to conduct a 2022 Development Impact Fee Study. The goals of this project includes analyze and recommend methodologies to determine the assessment of impact fees, including current methodology, any recommended alternatives, and help determine the appropriate impact fees to fund the Town's Capital Improvement needs as it relates to growth and development, an annual escalator to apply to all fees between impact fee studies to offset the cost of constructing infrastructure assets and provide impact fee rate comparisons with surrounding government entities.
